Hello,
This is my first post. Looking for help identifying a plug that was located in the wiring underneath my dash.
It is a Motorcraft part with number E43B-IOB924-AB stamped on it.
Some context:
I bought the vehicle about two years ago from a guy who got it on auction from the State of Washington Parks Dept.
Recently had some trouble with the vehicle starting and when I took it into the mechanic, he pointed this part out and said he'd never seen anything like it before.
Turns out it was unrelated (I believe) to my starting issues as the coil/dist. cap/IAC valve were spent.
Truck is running great, and this thing remains unplugged, but I still don't know what it is.
At one point the mechanic said that he looked up the part number and said it had something to do with my airbags... but this truck doesn't have airbags.
If anyone here has any information about what this little unit might be, or what plug it was attached to there, I would really appreciate any thoughts and information on the matter.
Thank you for your time!
M.
