Hi All,

1991 Ford Ranger Supercab 3.0 V6

I was under my dashboard trying to troubleshoot my rear driver brake like. I was looking at the firewall of where all the wires come in and I saw that this connector was there, and there's a reddish-pink(at least to me) that looks like it was stripped and burnt at the connector.

I have no clue where these wiring goes since I'm still trying to figure out how to get through all the wiring at the firewall and under the dash without actually having to take the entire dash out(which I really don't want to yet).

The only identification is the Part Number: Ford E97B-14A624-CA

Is there anyone who is familiar with Ford Part Numbers and tell me what this goes to?

I was wondering if someone has a website that you can search by part numbers to figure out what it does.. I know it's a longshot, but hey, one can dream right?

I've tried. I found several websites that still sells the part, but doesn't say what it's for.

Photo?

From a quick search, sounds like it might be where a factory jumper is installed on automatic trucks to bypass the clutch safety interlock.

@fastpakr Sorry for the delay. My work needed me to work some good OT.

I've attached pictures of the unit and the picture I found on Google that somewhat resembles it.
I also attached a picture of the wire that looks burnt/broke to me.

Found on Google.JPG20210803_150901.jpg20210803_150630.jpg20210803_150633.jpg20210803_150841.jpg20210803_150844.jpg
