The county just north of me, most years, has this contest, and the truck judged the most God-awful ugly wins.
You open the Station site and see all these pics of these pretty little rides....
Is that what Real Men drive?
NO!
So your thoughts and (sniff sniff) feelings, ladies?

We had an ugly truck contest. @rusty ol ranger won by an unprecedented margin. We all got tetanus from looking at it and vowed to never hold the contest again.

Yup, he won hands down.
Only thing holding his Ranger together is the thin coat of paint. He may have some duct tape and a wire tie in there somewhere.

Rusty 2.0. Not quite as ugly as her namesake....but still pretty hideous none the less...and i wouldnt have it any other way.

Both trucks are 87 2.9/5sp/2wds with a 3.45 rear. Rusty 2.0 has cruise/tilt/air. Both have red interiors and are XLTs, rusty 2.0 was built in Oct of 86 (IIRC, gotta double check), rusty #1 in Apr of 87. Both from kentucky truck.....bought 31 years apart (rusty #1 in 87, rusty 2.0 in 2018)

I gave these two away to friends in need of pickups earlier this year. Believe it or not, the ‘98 had 92k miles on it. I knew the original owner well.

Sorry, not ugly enough, all tires match, and all wheels match. And, you cannot see daylight when looking through the metal.
Rusty is still the "top gun" !

OK, a factory single seat Ranger convertible with a flat bed. Still has matching wheels and tires. Even all the chrome lug nuts match.
Yeah, ugly, but the ugliest ??? Hmmmmm...
First pic is definitely ugly, but in second pic, you spiffed it up with a grill and chrome bumper, and a hood, thereby deleating points for "ugliest"
Do wipers work and is the windshield spritzer operational ?
In the running...

the grey-t escape
actually, the wheels didnt match, fronts were trailer wagon wheels, painted black 205/75/15’s, rears were 225/75/15, one a factory spare from a ‘93 and the other rear rim a plain steel wheel, likely from a ltd. I did drive it some on the road before removing the front pieces and bed, extremely squirrely above 50. did awesome burnouts though, and no 1st in transmission- had to start in 2nd then shift to D above 50. wipers dead, washer worked (so did the a/c) . Was a $500 truck, did get my moneys worth from it.
