My turn signals are not working and neither are the indicators on the dash. The fuse blows as soon as the ignition is turned on. I have replaced the turn signal switch and the drl module, I had a look at the lights in all 4 corners and didn’t see any bare wires, are there any other common places for shorting out?

Welcome to TRS :)

Assuming 1992 Ranger

Turn on 4-way flashers, if they work then turn signal wiring is OK

What is the number of the fuse?
Cab fuse box diagram below, 1991/92 is the same

If its fuse #5 then it powers Turn signals, but also reverse lights and Master's brake fluid level sensor
Unplug the Brake fluid sensor, see if fuse blows
Unplug the Reverse light switch, its on the transmission, manual or automatic matters
Unplug the Flasher, the round unit in fuse box

Good stuff :)

Could be a bad reverse light switch or a shorted wire or bulb at the rear
Test with OHM meter is best
