Hey guys I got a 1990 ranger. I just welded in some floor pans and after driving my truck my turn signals don't work. I disconnect the negative on the battery before welding. I tried jumping the lightblue-whitelightblue wire at the multi function switch. Nothing happened of course, because that would be easy. So I decided to plug everything back in and jump the flasher cylinder box thing in the interior fuse panel. I took it out put the truck in run and put the turn lever down. Then using a paperclip I was able to flash the left blinker. Does that mean my 6 month old flasher relay thing is bad? Hazards work fine.

Just swap 4-way flasher to turn flasher location, that will tell you if turn one is bad

4-way is usually on the back of fuse panel

It's up there.
Total Drop
It's down there.

Round.
My credo
I poop in the furnace.
In all my years welding on vehicles I've never disconnected the battery. Well, unless it didn't have one in it to begin with. You most likely just got a crappy flasher.

Good stuff (y)

Yes, 2 flashers thru 1994 on Rangers, in 1995 they were combined into one dual flasher
