Turkey Bay Dec. 11th and 12th....

I figured I would start a thread to get the ball rollin' with enough time to get as many lined up for a trip to Turkey Bay....

Turkey Bay is located in the Land Between the Lakes National Park...

there is an entry fee into the OHV park of $15 per vehicle ( free if ya just wanna drive in and park to ride with someone else ) for a 3 day pass....

I have tentively posted up for 2 days, since I am up for 2 days of wheelin' fun.....willin to come in Friday for 3 days if anyone else would like to...

I know not everyone can go 2 days, and that Sundays are better than Saturdays for some, and vice-versa.... so we can either plan for one or both....whichever is best for your situation...

you can camp in the OHV area, $8 a night for a tent or camper ( primitive sites, no water or electric hook-ups ) but, larger campgrounds with hook-ups are in other parts of the Natl. Park....and there are 2 KY State Resorts really close by if ya wanna get a nice room ( personally suggest Lake Barkley State Resort )....

Foregoing the highsteer till a later date so we can just get 'er done!
I'm bringing a co-driver just in case the new bionic hip ain't up to clutching for two days. So my truck's full! He also wants to check out our running habits before he tags along in the Jeep YJ and gets embarrassed. He's got thick skin and can take as well as dish, so ain't too concerned about that. Just can't convince him to bring the stock explorer either on street tires! NO BALLS! Hmm might have to figure out getting them 31s off the jeep and onto the exploder though?
I'm not positive but I think I read something in the TB flyer that red heads driving stock sporttracs are not allowed on mondays..

well jay the sports trac is staying on the road! its a dd not an off road vehicle plus it wont be done till prob after christmas with all the projects rick has i will jus be a passanger and maybeget to drive a lil in someone elses rig but i doubt that would ever happen....
