Most people aren't willing to put the time, money, and effort needed for the project in order to make it all work. One can't just slap a CAI and a more free flowing exhaust on and call it good. It takes a lot more than that, including work on the engine itself. You want to spend a bunch of money to do it? More power to you but say $200 on a CAI and $600 on a stainless exhaust with a noisy muffler ain't gonna cut it.I made a similar statement a while back, and got shut down pretty quick, they ( forum members) said the OEM intake and exhaust is superior to any aftermarket system. ...and then Hennessy goes and does the exact same thing.

A company like Hennessy has the capital, resources, knowledge, and equipment to develop a working system and eat the costs of any mistakes. It isn't Bill and Bob in their garage out back. Huge difference.
