That's not half bad. Consistent and very healthy improvement across the board.

I'm greatly interested and will watch to see how it goes. There is a bit of a question about the engine reliability as it is from the factory based on what I've seen with the Focus and (I think) the Mustang with head gasket issues. Ford may have already found a fix but until I see definitive proof, I wouldn't want to be tweaking the engine performance just yet.

Only the Focus RS which uses a different engine block than the others, I think they fixed it with a different headgasket.

I'd love to see what it does when someone installs some high flow cats and mandrel bent exhaust, and maybe a more free flowing header.

It won't be long now until we start seeing turbo swaps also...

To each his own.
You will not gain much on this 4 cyl engine with exhaust. Ford has been ahead of that game with both intake and exhaust for a few years.

I made a similar statement a while back, and got shut down pretty quick, they ( forum members) said the OEM intake and exhaust is superior to any aftermarket system. ...and then Hennessy goes and does the exact same thing.

You consistently announce that you were 'shut down' by other members of this forum, when the real problem is a failure to comprehend what people said.

I posted am picture of an Australian Ranger with a Mustang logo and got backlash about performance. That the Ranger had plenty of power and all that. I mentioned a cold air intake, and was told it's not necessary on newer vehicles because OEM was better. BUT when someone yall respect or know says something about performance upgrades, you're all over it. Give me a break.
fastpakr, I didn't even charge you shipping when I sold you that bezel, my good one at that. I'm not trying to make waves, I'm trying to make friends, sorry, somewhere I went wrong. But from POV, I'm right.

For stock or nearly stock power levels the factory cold air intake is hard to beat. Same for exhaust. The truck in the video I posted still had stock intake/exhaust, it just had a tune.

If you are getting wild for power, you are going to need more air in and more exhaust out in addition to other things. Most people just throw an exhaust and intake on a stock engine thinking it is going to give them a lot more power.

just imagine the power they could get out of a V8 with Ecoboost technology. If Hennessey is getting good 350hp out of a 4banger, they should be able to get over 1000 from a 5.0 Ecoboost. :stirthepot::pissedoff::taunt:

Actually for displacement it would be closer to 700-750hp... which is very acheivable for car applications. No idea how well it would stay together in a truck.

That was the 6.2... but you are dreaming small. There is a 7.3 gas coming out for the Super Duty. ㊙
