My credo

Wait, people out there dead head catch cans? How would they even work?
They don't... I've seen people use them this way on race cars but it achieves no benefit to the engine, it just keeps oil from dripping onto the track.

That's the only way I've seen a non-OEM catch can hooked up... They usually get mounted to the firewall where said shade tree wrencher sticks a breather on the hose-end instead of routing it back into his TB. The oil vapor picks up dirt in the engine bay and turns into this fun layer of paste that gets everywhere. Lots of the classic car guys out here just put breathers on oil separators with no catchment at all. Those cars don't see more than 1,000 miles per year and I'm sure lots of time is spent keeping those engines clean.

My credo
Give 'yer balls a tug. Fight me.
All I do with them is stick them somewhere cold in the engine bay and use it between the pcv and tb. ??‍♂
