Agreed. I like those “flatter” colors myself. Ford and Chevy seem to be fixated on flashy colors or some form or grey or silver. I’m personally sick to death of red. I’m not sure I’ll ever own a red vehicle again for the rest of my life.Nothing wrong with battleship gray except for the appearance packages required to attain it. I like the recent trend towards non metallic colors, it makes bodylines look crisper and less fuzzy.
Toyota has a neat non metallic tan (sandstone) and dark green (army green) I like too. Meanwhile Ford sits in the corner eating erasers wondering what new metallic silver they should come up with to go with the other 50 shades of gray they already have.
