drives a stick shift ranger
My dad had one and he loved it. We borrowed it once when our jeep lost the radiator on the highway and locked up the motor. That sport trac was a very nice ride and had lots of room compared to our jeep liberty.

I would drive one if i found a clean one with low miles.

They just took an Explorer and cut the rear end off so they could put a bed on it. Not a horrible way to go. At least it was still body on frame.

If I remember correctly, the bed is fiberglass. There are pluses and minuses to that. You don't have to worry about it rusting out but it's harder to repair if it gets busted.

All said, I might have considered one if I was in the market. I mean I got a Supercrew Ranger. I would have preferred an Explorer but they are unibody and AWD now.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Usually the saying is, "a good sticker is worth "x" amount of horsepower. Therefore, with all those stickers, it must be a fast, powerful vehicle.

The inside of the bed was really tough composite material. Never had an issue. Now the outside was fiberglass i believe. I know it dont hold up wel when banged into trees and rocks haha. But they were only like 119 for the bed side back in 2010 haha.

Do you (or does anybody) know where that hood ornament Scoopy looking thing came from? That might look good on the Road Ranger
