I have a 1998 Ford Ranger XLT 4X4 with the 4.0L engine and automatic transmission that ran hot while riding down I-16. Before I realized it was overheating it either cracked a head or blew a head gasket, I have not got the time or the experience to break it down and find out. I would be willing to trade the entire truck , I just put new shocks on it and bought new sway bars all included. I desperately need a manual 5 speed transmission that will bolt up to the WINDSOR engine in my 1995 Ford F-150 4x4 and everything work. I bought a transmission and set it beside the truck and the day before I could get it in the truck some sorry no good person stole it out of my yard. If anyone knows of a good 1995 F-150 4X4 transmission that will bolt to a Windsor transmission for a real affordable price please feel free to let me know, I would be so grateful. Sincerely; Sloan4

Dang man, that's a shame. I have learned to lock everything down, even if I'm only planning to be gone an hour or two, and I live in a remote area, but strangers still happen by, and too often they can be the wrong ones at the wrong time
It is truely best to get it all plum out of sight

I tagged you in an old post of mine. IF that works for you and you need it, you can have it. Probably needs a rebuild though,

EDIT: Nevermind, I just saw that you want a manual shift transmission.

God’s plan, not mine.
So the 3.8, 4.2, I-6 300, 5.0, and the 5.8 all share the same bolt pattern…. hope that helps widen you search.
