I'm still working on photos from the trip. It's going to take me a bit with the three meetings/events going on tomorrow and all the vehicle work I have to do yet.

Well crap. Maybe that's from a different spot. Who knows. It was so tight through some of those bypasses.

Well, this is going to reveal my absolute ignorance on the 4-wheeling/Mudding/Trail Blazing subject:

Isn't there a way to seal up the bottom of the trucks to keep the mud from getting into places like that?? I'm thinking at least a few of you guys would be equipped that way if it were an option... Right??

Sure. We'd just have to wrap his entire truck in plastic wrap. Who wants to help??

Congratulations on your TRS 8-Year Anniversary.

If you don't have the skidplate it won't catch mud. :icon_thumby:

But then your fan can catch water, throw it at a connector and kill your ignition in the middle of a river. :dntknw:

You have to ease into it.

When I had a V8 Ranger (TRS-1), I had a toggle switch to turn my fan off if I was going into water.

I will be adding a switch for my pushers. If I wasn't nervous my plan was to just unplug the temp switch on top of the engine. I even thought that as I was watching you cross. Totally forgot during the walk back to the truck.

But it was the engine driven fan that got me. I will be making a deflector for that, I wasn't deep enough for the fan to be in it outright.

As you approached, I thought to myself, don't enter it too quickly. Not sure if your fan was above the water line, but you did create a wake into the grill when you entered the water.
