I got to work on the brakes and swap the tires today. There was a "little bit" of mud in the brakes and wedged up in the skid plates. I'm sure it's just the tip of the iceberg.

This was the clean side.

Very similar to the mud in the AOAA when I took the 2011 to meet Snoranger and Ryan. The brakes weren't as packed but the mud was packed in everywhere.

Made ithome about 5pm on Sunday. had a great time, David really enjoyed driving @bobbywalter s truck, Thank you Bobby for letting him do that! Also thank you @LASFIT for the lightbar! My issue now is where do I install it? Front bumper, hood/cowl, or roof? or mount it to a magnet bar from Harbor freight and with a little bit of different length power wires put it anywhere on the truck... decisions... I love the look and construction of the light, again thanks!

Roof mount tends to generate glare on the hood. Mounting it towards the back of the cab will reduce that. Grill mounting will eliminate that problem but not reach out as far.

Took me 2 hours with a preasure washer to get it off mine. Looks good now.

Oh remember that branch I told you guys I broke off. Just another story for mine but didn't want you guy's trucks getting it.

Thank you all for an awesome trip, especially @Uncle Gump. We (myself and Lisa) ended up paying for another night at the campground which worked out good for me, I needed some chill time after the flurry of events. Would have liked to have hung out by the fire more in the evenings but I wasn’t up for it. We left yesterday, had a little delay on the highway, and pulled into Lisa’s around midnight. Spent the night there, today when we got moving we got her stuff out of the truck and I headed home. I’m home now. Was an awesome trip, I don’t even know where to begin with things…

Oh, and my @LASFIT air compressor got used to air up my back tires because they were looking a little squishy at 25psi after we got everything loaded to head back.

I got the Ranger mostly unloaded today. Still have to sort things and unpack. Plus find the stuff that got loaded in the truck but I currently don’t know where.

Actually if you go park in a river for 5 minutes most of that will just rinse off in the river.

I've had them mounted above the roof behind the cab before as well as on the windshield post.

I don't like the glare when they're anywhere above the hood. I mount mine on a grill guard or above the front bumper and they light up the world. Especially since most LED lightbars have a spot/flood combo.

Cleo Griffen's home. last person to leave the LBL area after it was taken over by the TVA and then US Park service. after some reading up, it looks like a volunteer group is going to restore/ repair the house. the Trackhoe across the road was used to clear out a bunch of brush.

Oh and thanks to @lil_Blue_Ford and Lisa for the trip down LBL in search of the Cleo Griffen Home and surviving the David wasp sting experience, it was a fun trip to the Planetarium and made teh road trip nicer for having someone else to talk to
