I'm generally pretty forgiving on pizza quality. But when I get ahold of a good one, I truly appreciate it. There's a little restaurant in a town nearby that does an excellent job with a wood fired oven. I usually hit them up once every 6 weeks right after my haircut appointment in that town.
Not being a regular oven adds a whole new level. One perk to a having a bunch of old trees... wood for my grill literally falls from the sky.

Pizza? Chicago pizza > NY or NJ pizza. We have both in the indy area and there is no contest.

AJ
I will concede that there are large number of people from the Chicago area who have also developed a cheese and dough and tomato sauce thing that they call pizza, and it’s actually nice to eat. However, it is not real pizza. If these unfortunate people had the opportunity to have real pizza, they would agree.

Ok, now your just making sh!t up.
Come on, you’re gonna make people from Georgia look bad. Just because the advertising guy calls it pizza, doesn’t make pecan Pie a pizza pie. And Georgia pecan pie is fantastic, why would they try to mislead people and call it pizza anyway?

I am not very picky, even a frozen pizza tossed on the grill while I mow the yard is great to me (and I can just drive up and check on it periodically while I mow)
For clarity, let me say I never met a pizza I didn’t like! It’s just that New York pizza is the best, the benchmark

We had pizza hut taco pizza once when I was a kid. "Why is that black olive moving?"

It was moving because it was a cockroach...

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

You're either extremely lucky or have no taste buds.

Just eat the pizza...

I'll bet our campfire pizza is gonna be the best pizza you can get within a hundred mile radius of our campfire. Perhaps even further...

I could make you a Casey's pizza if you'd like.

All I have to do is lower my standards by about 50%
