I hate to say it but you don’t have your invite by now...

Just kidding, it is open to TRS members and I think friends and family too. I think SOP has a fee to get in and another fee to camp though.

Well, in that case you can keep your blue ovals! I'm going back to Mopar! They know me there! Lol

Hey, if it's open to all, I'm in. I've had the cancer patient out to the Western border of Ohio, and it was trouble-free there and back. Here's to pressing my luck!

The amount of broken Rangers on the trail that also drove to the event will be hilarious. Bring plenty of spare parts and tools! :)

I think the big thing is to be realistic what you and your truck can do.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Ok, ok. It's official. I told my wife the other day that I'm going to this. Just finished making the vacation request at work. The truck doesn't need much. I'm hoping to get a trailer so I can tow the Ranger behind my F150. Haven't told "her" yet that we need a car trailer. I'll need to check all my camping equipment since I haven't used any of it in over 11 years. I should be able to visit my cousin near Cincinnati on Thursday that week. Yes! Road Trip!

I have checked into a u-haul car trailer, they are not that bad. Just dump it for the couple of days in between you don't need it. If I had a younger horse I would go that route.

...I really hate you for all the work I'm putting into my truck for this. ??
Heck, I have been "fixing" mine for 17 years now (and counting) because of Jim/TRS1. :bawling:

I'd be really surprised if Jim hasn't earned a "parts salesman of the year" trophy from Ford at least once over this site.

I am ready for this... my 8 year old son is ready for this... he was pretty excited about the idea of driving off road in the Ranger. since it has defaulted to Daily Driver for me since the Charger was totaled, we probably won't do any insanely taxing trails, but definitely going to do some trails. If nothing else, my son can watch Bobby hit some of the harder trails :)

To do list before I go:
Shocks all the way around.
the passenger side lockout hub was making noise... need to investigate that...

Wife has already been informed, and I think she is counting down the days until she has the entire weekend without either of us lol
