Well, after breaking the first 89 A4LD, and using the successfully mounting the second A4LD that came with the vehicle when purchased, my father and I realized that the shift lever was not facing towards the ground as it should, but up towards the floorboards of the Bronco II. We disassembled the old broken A4LD because it was the shaft that was totaled, and the internals are still in tact. What tool would shift it for us, enough to where we can disconnect the shift arm and rotate it. If not does anyone have a better idea on how to fix this, besides scrap it or trade the A4LD to Pull-a-Part for a manual!
