Hey all, this is my first post. I have a 93 ranger xl 3.0 long bed and recently replaced the passenger motor mount, and transmission mount, as they were pretty bad and causing some mad shaking all around and hard shifting.
All was fine and dandy until the vibration returned. Thought it was wheel bearings or something I did wrong when rebuilding the front end, so I repacked the bearings and torqued the front suspension to spec. Still shook. but then I noticed the new transmission mount I replaced a month or so ago, was done for /doused in atf and you could compress it all the way in via one hand.
My question being, did i mis install the trans and motor mounts causing the premature failure?/is there a specific torque/install procedure for the mounts in order to sustain good driveline angles?/alignment?
Thank you
