I assume I wouldn't need this fluid for my transmission right? That's not entirely true, ford gladly sells 10ml of XL-16 transmission fluid additive for $80 bucks to fix their stupid noisy 6R80's...
Getting a mechanic to fix my oil leak is going to range between 500-1200 so I'm trying to save up for that. 500 if it's the Oil Pan Gasket Seal (since they have to pull the engine), O already got the new seal and oil, so the charge is labor only. if it's the seal between the transmission/engine, then it's like $20 for the seal and 1160-ish for labor.
