so im planning out my sas for my 94 ranger, i decided after a a bit of thinking that i have one ranger that runs great, and i have another ranger with 3/4 ton axles, and a butt load of time into the suspension with no drive train that im just going to combine the two, now my question is when locating my trac bar is it a batter idea to get an off set axle trac bar mount and sit the trac bar in front of the axle, or just use the one i have from barnes 4x4, move the frame side mount up and just put two bends in the trac bar to keep it parrallel with the drag link? i cant put it directly over teh axle because in running air shocks only and im afraid when it droops out ( the suspensioin is all droop) the shock will hit the trac bar mount

i had mine mounted directly over the axle and the front diff. i changed it to be just in front of the axle at the same angle and plane as the drag link. it got rid of any bumpsteer i had and it handles a hell of a lot better on the road. i ran into some problems with the track bar hitting the diff under flex when it was mounted directly over the axle.

i would move it forward of the axle. it will solve your problems. just remember to have it the in same plane and angle as the draglink. having them the same length as well is best for correct steering.
