Don't see why that wouldn't easily be towed behind a Ranger....I mean they seem to think its ok towing 12k+ behind an F150, so pulling an ~2-1/2 ton lift behind a Ranger that's properly equipped would be a problem. Would I tow it behind my 87 4x2, hell no, but the newer 4L equipped Rangers should handle it no problem. You can get it moving with a little 4 cylinder car, its the stopping and turning that create the problems, well and speed...people go flying down the highways with their trailers all the time and you run across them up the road a few miles flipped over in the ditches because they were going way too fast and out-drove their driving skills and vehicle's capability.
