Has anyone used the Titan 51535 (or similar) double flaring brake line tool, and if so, what were your results? I'm trying to double flare some Nicopp brake line using this tool and I'm following the directions exactly, but almost every flare come out crooked, creased, lopsided, asymmetrical, etc. I think that I'm prepping the line properly (square cut, deburred, lubricated) so I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

By the looks of those formed ends I get the impression that you're not using a proper tubing cutter to *cut* the line.

Also when you are using the yoke are you mounting it into a vice to keep it secure & stationary? The top surface of both halves of the yoke have to absolutely flush with each other to prevent a lop-sided flare to form. A straight edge laid across them is useful to make sure they are.
Each one of the dies are used to gauge the proper height of the brake line when it inserted into the yoke extending out the top side. Copper-nickel is very soft, no extreme pressure is needed to hold the line in the yoke & to form the material.
