Are there any tricks to installing the latch bushing for the swing away tire carrier? Does it stay in place once it is cut and slid over the pipe? Does it need to be glued?
It looks like the one available is listed for full size Bronco, but measurements look the same for BII. Any help is appreciated.

I made my own out of radiator hose and zipties....

I also just realized that there was a place for a little bumper much like that is on a door. That quieted mine down a lot.

I've got old radiator hoses. I'll give it a try. Thanks.

Quick off topic: what is that piece of metal with the two clips below the latch supposed to hold? I can't figure it out.

Lug wrench for sure is one. I still have it. Can't remember what the other is. Might be a screw drivern to remove the center caps with.

Picture... the carrier has since been painted, but I put the hose back around it. I just slit in and wrapped it around. Made it a good snug fit.
Yep.
Radiator hose, and silicon grease...LOTS of silicon grease :)
