tip to install front fender liner 98+

I always seem to struggle putting the liner back in, particularly pulling the top outward.

there is a ridge about 3" in. the liner has to clear that to go up enough to be above the lip.
but it can't go up until it clears the ridge.

so, I kinda forced the outer section up above the lip, then wacked the liner a couple times to move it out past the ridge.
the board pushed on the hammer which pushed on the outer edge.
the blue tape marks the screw holes in the fender.

all is good now, no bloody knuckles today.

I've gotten so good at popping the inner fender off my truck I can do it in my sleep. Great place to stick a PCV valve ford!
