My credo
Deengineer until it is how Blue Oval should have sold it!!
Avl,

It is right next to the distributor, part of the wire harness. There is a small gray plastic, I call a "dog house" shape removable cover. It hangs so it could be just a little lower than line of site and on the passenger side.

Welcome to TRS :)

Looks like this one: https://www.fordforumsonline.com/attachments/spout-jpg.866/

And +1 to what gaz said, usually near distributor on the 2.9l on the TFI wiring harness, passenger side of lower intake manifold

Assuming previous owner, or you, didn't "remote mount" the TFI module away from distributor

That’s what they say, however Me no see… wondering if they hid it somewhere else in 1990?

1990 computer should be inside the cab, passenger side kick panel
OBD1 connector should be in engine bay, passenger side, on the main wiring harness that goes thru firewall to the computer
Look around there for SPOUT, its on a wire that runs from TFI module to computer

Have also seen them up by Rad support on either side so there was easier access to unplug and plug in while using a timing light, but usually only on 3.0ls that use remote mounted TFI

Great news, the new injectors were a success!
Got to drive her for the first time after an extended engine rebuild! love the way she handles.

Putting in rebuilt injectors was the biggest single improvement on my '90 Bronco II out of all the things I did to it, after some years of relative neglect by PO. Second biggest was correcting the vacuum line routings someone before me had switched around (swapping two lines between the before-throttle body port to the inlet manifold port). Also greatly improved the automatic trans shifting as its vacuum pressure was also affected by this fix.
