Yup, thats right, I had to go bigger, I'm making my Ranger into a mock 1-ton anyways, so I figured I might as well buy the real thing while I'm at it...

I picked up a 2002 F-350 with the 7.3L Power Stroke, its a crew cab with an 8' bed, and it's a beast to park. No more swinging into tight spots like I did with the Ranger! I knew I needed to own it the first time I laid eyes on it at the dealer:wub:

Oh yeah, I'm definitely finishing it, I'm gunna take it off the road for a couple of years at the end of the month, but yeah, definitely going to finish it. Probly Re-register it after everything is all done. Just need some more time and $$, but that goes with everything.

Yeah, I replaced my B2 in 2004 with this as my daily driver. The wheelbase is 6" longer than my motorhome's. It is a bastard to park in many places in town. I can always find it coming out of a store though since half of it is hanging out into the street.

Now I'm getting used to the tiny shitbox. It's a huge change, obviously. But the 39mpg is nice. My diesel gets 18 around here and that's good for what it is, but bad when most of the time I'm not carrying anything. Now I just use the truck about once a week to haul something.

I just calculated out my mileage today with the diesel, I'm getting roughly 21mpg around town, better than the 16 mpg I was getting with the Ranger, who ever said 4 cylinders were better on gas?!?

16 mpg with a 4 cyl?! There's something wrong with your engine. My 4.0 SOHC does better than that. There's no reason a 4 cyl should be getting that kind of mileage.
