Hey all, I have a 95 2wd with the 2.3L and am wondering when would be a good time for a tune up. When I got the truck 4 years ago it had 47K miles on it, and i put new plugs and wires in then. I'm at 130K now and wasn't really sure when a good tune up interval was. I put the Bosch platinum 2's in with autolite wires when I first got the truck. Any suggestions? Or just keep running it the way it is?

the haynes manual says 60,000 miles for plugs i think (someone correct me if i'm wrong). i wouldn't go more than 100,000, so your're probably due. btw, ditch the bosch plugs and go with motorcraft or autolite single or double plats. good choice on the autolite wires though.

Nice! Thanks for the reply. I saw they had MSD wires on Jegs's website for the 2.3L, does anyone think these are worth it, or just go for the autolites from the local stores. Also, how come the Bosche's aren't that great? Just out of curiosity. Thanks again.

In my experience, I would say don't bother with MSD unless your running boost or nitrous. For stock the autolites, like mentioned by phatcap should be fine.
