Heading south in the morning. I'm moving down to Jacksonville, FL from Standish, MI. I'm going to miss the snow but at least I can ride the quads year round.

PS. The topper will be forsale as soon as I get there.

Might want to rethink that. It rains a lot in Florida.
Good luck on the move. Will the last one out of Michigan please get the lights?

Not to mention that there are still people who STEAL STUFF in florida.

Yeah, locking it inside your topper might be less secure than Ft.Knox, but the point is about not tempting honest people into stealing your stuff.

Funny because it's true, but not funny, because it's true. I hate Granholm.

Good luck down south, eh.

I was through the same thing in PA 20 years ago when the steel industry collapsed overnight. Population in my part of the state is 2/3 what it was in 1970. Looking back I should have moved when I had the chance.

how much weight is in that trailer?
In the trailer is about 1500 lbs. I think the trailer is about 1300 empty. Add another 4-500 in the bed it was a good load that's for sure.

I never got into ice racing or even riding much in the winter.:dunno:

The topper was never really on the truck in the last 4 years I've had it and I've got a tonneau cover/locking toolbox.

The trip went well. I lost a trailer fender about mid Kentucky. I was forced onto the shoulder and ran over a shreaded tire.:flipoff: Mileage hit a low of 8.5 and only 160 miles on the tank and a high of 14.5 with 260 miles on the tank.

Yup, I've been in MI for just a little over a year and I have seen a decline...It's bad.
