Cleaned the MAF sensor and IAC today to see if that'll help with some starting issues I'm having lately.
Decided to take off the Throttle Position Sensor (TPS).
After reinstalling, I'm now getting very high idle (2K RPMs) and the check engine light is illuminated.
OBDII codes are P0122 and P0123.
I probably screwed up the reinstall and the blade on the TPS isn't at the correct location so the recorded position of the throttle is incorrect.
Is there a way to "reset" the position, or is there any other way to fix the issue?
I’ve read that you can simply unplug the negative battery cable or fuse to the ECM for 5 mins. Seems too easy.
Note that I wasn't see the error code prior to uninstall of the TPS.
