Looking for a replacement for 91 3.0L. I think the part number is F1TZ9A758A. None of those to be found but there are some F1TZ9A758E available.

Anyone know if those are compatible parts? It’s tough to tell just from the pictures. This is a picture of the broken part of the assembly.

The other day it got stuck and the pedal was just mush nothing would happen when depressed traced it to this.

thanks in advance.

i don't know about this particularly but if the rest of the number is the same, that ending letter might be a later upgraded version

Have gone thru this myself years ago with my 94 3.0 ranger. Looked all over and found nothing new, even my friend who owns a cable speedo shop..says it's expensive to make. I ventured thru junk yards and found that 91-94 3.0 rangers are exactly the same for the whole cable assembly, and is fairly easy to replace. The 95-97 3.0 rangers are similar, yet a little different. Over the years I have found a few good throttle cables, and kept them for spares. If your able to find 91-94 3.0 rangers get the whole throttle cable assembly.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I think keeping an eye on the salvage is going to be my best bet. It’s helpful to know about the 91-94 compatibility.
