Bought a 86 a few months back and it came with 92 15s and tiny tires, replaced with stock 14s. Thoughts on the better look? Be nice if I could find some smaller more aggressive tires for the 14s? thanks J

Those steelies would look better Silver or gloss Black in my opinion. The 15's look good also. The fun part is going top be finding tires for those 14's,

EDIT: Still a great looking truck you got there.

I know, I carried away with the white. Trying to set off those pin stripes?

Wonder if utv radials would fit? They have a huge selection for 14 inch rims. I've been looking at some 30x11x14s for my sxs. Seen several dot approved radials. Weight limits may be an issue. Just a dumb redneck question haha

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

I think weight rating on the utv tires will kill that idea.
Truck looks great. I’m not a big fan of the white. But that’s just my dumb opinion. It’s your truck. Make it the way you want it.

Nice gen 1! Id go with some 15 x 7 , either steel white spokes or a silver D window wheel. Silver with black is a good combination. I kind of like the silver basset dirt track wheel too, that would go good on a black shortbed.

Nothing wrong with a good set of steelies. The white might be way too much contrast though.

Thank you all for candid responses! I will be audible, drive as is for fishing weekends this year and repaint in fall (silver). Going to try to match the Crager 345 silver from above. As for tires I will swap out in spring, thinking with the silver change going to cooper cobras could be fun in the 215/70 size. More that muscle look for my 16 second truck (1/8).
Thanks again

Nice truck you have here. It looks clean and well-maintained. I think silver rims look nice, I used to love black wheels but they look odd in a distance.

I had a set of black D window wheels, had to be real close to see them good, so I painted the centers silver, much better look.
