Hello,
I found this truck on craigslist and it looks to be in awesome condition. But for the year the price seems high. Wanted to get your thoughts.

My credo
Break it right the first time. Fix it better the next time.
My opinion it's worth around 6500. I sold my freshly painted 4x4 v8 swapped ranger in the my avatar with 95k on the whole drivetrain for 7500.00 in 2020. From the pics wear and tear seems to show it is indeed a low mileage original truck.

Clean truck, but even in the saltbelt that is pretty pricey. 8500 will get you clean 4wd that same vintage.

Id say thats MAX a 6000 dollar truck, more like 5k is where i feel it should be.

My credo
Its probably better to be self deprecating than self defecating.
I bought a 2010 5 speed 2.3 with 109k miles on it back in 2016 or 2017 for 6000$. It was dented up, rusty bumpers, half of the bed supports were rotted out, and there wasn't hardly any paint left on the frame.

This truck IS 15 years older... but its MUCH cleaner... and if you drive the average 15k miles a year... this truck essentially has 4 more years of life in it than the one I bought. Even with the used market the way it is, 8500 is a bit steep.. I wouldnt feel bad about paying 6k for it though.

I think it's a toss-up. $6k would probably be easy to get. A nice shiny clear coat is tough to come by tho. Tires could add a good bit a value. Seats are clean, but are they supportive? Worn out and un-supportive foam negates clean seats in my book. Looks clean under hood. And of course it only has 51k.
If I realllllyyyy wanted a nice ranger, I'd probably go into it with a $7k max and high expectations. Unfortunately, these aren't highly sought after trucks so their value can be disappointing.
I'd also require zero modifications. No tapped wires and such.

Anyone recognize the engine? Looks like something is missing on the belt drive.

A/C compressor is correct.

It sure is a sellers market... that's one clean little low mileage Ranger...

You will have to pay up...

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.

I think it's newer than 95. That's not a 3rd gen dash. (93-97)

Meh. $8500 is a huge down payment on a new Maverick with zero miles on it and a warranty. Hard pass.
