Suppose I should post here as well, even though I always skip this part on most forums.
That said, I have a 2001 3.0 2wd Ranger XLT, the blue color, cab is extended with those jump seat things but still only two door, and has the fiberglass bed sides. I mainly use the truck for hauling scrap metal / appliances (it's hauled a lot of stuff over the years), but I do like the Ranger's of this style. My dad got the truck back in 2013-2014, needed work then too, and I've been chipping away at problems that pop up. Currently timing cover gasket leak and radiator, and associated parts while I have it open. My dad passed away in 2018 from cancer, so of course I have the truck now, though I helped when he first got it, then did most of the work on it after he bought it. The truck is in horrible condition (admitedly some of it is my fault while loading stuff into it), bad enough I probably won't post any photos, but still keeping it going. My dad did autobody repair and some mechanic work, and while I'm no expert on automotive repair, I did learn some stuff growing up helping dad.
Have browsed the forums for years, and thought I'd finally sign up. I can usually google for information if I need it when repairing something if I don't have a service manual, so usually not too many questions, but can still perhaps post if I see any threads I can add my worthless 2 cents to.
