This exact same discussion is going on over at LightningRodder.com, and the overwhelming opinion is if it doesn't have a gas engine with a blower, NO THANKS! I feel the exact same way. I like my vehicles to go Vroom-Vroom. And my Lightning actually sounds like it has a blower on it, even when just idling. Electric vehicles are not my cup-o-tea. Plus, my main interest in the Lightning is the Gen.II flared fender version. I just think they are the epitome of the F-150. PERIOD! The first Gen.s are cool. Anything after, NO THANKS!

There was a mention in the other forum about the NHRA bringing out an electric drag racing class. LMAO!!! I don't care how fast they are, without the sound and the lovely smells that are drag racing, I'd rather watch a large puddle of water evaporate.

There it is!
Yes. But I withheld any comments until I saw two people on the first page ask about me. Otherwise, I likely would've never said a word. I hate electric vehicles. Overpriced golf carts. That's all folks.

I didn't ask for your life story, just answer the question!
There it is!
That went a lot better than I thought it would... I was expecting cursing, throwing things, followed by crying, and pointing blame. Then more cursing and throwing things, and ending with denial.

Man growing up the smell of racing fields and burning rubber at the drag strip is what stand out to me. One of the reasons I'm a car guy now. Still gets my excitement up when I go to a nascar race or NHRA event. So YES YES engines should go vroom and big ones should shake the ground on their way by. Just my opinion
