OK, here goes the new build, not necessarily an off road truck but it is a 4x4 so I put it on here. Some of you my know me this is my 3rd truck build on here but my first 4x4. the project is a 1996 4x4 extended cab auto with a 4.0 power everything with AC, loaded. The only problem right now is the lack of an installed motor and trans as you can see.

These are all the photos I have right now, I've only had the truck since Friday so forgive me. I'll keep you posted as the progress goes on. :headbang:

I love a white Ranger. Looks good. Do you actually have a motor for it yet? Could always go the 5.0 route ;)

I do indeed have the motor and trans for it, ready to go. I want to do some more painting on the frame before it goes back in.

Well, not much to report. I have been cleaning parts and the frame in preparation for paint. I got the bed off tonight and will be digging into cleaning up the frame for paint tomorrow. Ordered stuff for the brake overhaul and some other odds and ends. May pick up my rims tomorrow too, they need cleaned up as well.

I got the bed off and started cleaning up the frame.

As I was cleaning the frame, I noticed an area that needs patched up, right by the gas tank, didn't want to weld there so...

I had to drop the tank, but in order to do that, I had to remove the rear end. Oh well, it got me out of the house.

Truck rolled out of the garage yesterday under its own power, took a little longer than I expected. Ready for winter snow.
