So I was reading some dead threads about 7/8 bore masters and the lack of accessibility. I want to go with the Tilton internal slave but I would need a 7/8 master for the 10.5 clutch in the T5. I know many of these master are advertised as 7/8 but fall short. So besides making an adapter plate and push rod for a wildwood or similar priced master, What is a bolt on solution anymore. I was thinking about the modern driveline external slave since the Nissan slaves are such poor quality anymore and wiped out my mcloed clutch this time when it leaked around the bore.
That's what I have on my t5 is the modern drive line external slave kit.they only require a 3/4" bore for proper functionality.works great for me so far

Tilton called for a 7/8 master for their slave.

Also the m5odr2 slave needed a 7/8 master

Which I could never get it right.... bench bled a million times and tried different lenght rods. Still was never even 75% right.
this is how I bleed mine clutch master.worked first time.pretty impressed on how affective and easy it was.

Those that have done rhw internal hydraulic throwout bearing.. if you drive it like this, are you able to wot powershift and where is the clutch engagement ? I'm building another one with a 331 but will still be a daily driver and see track duty

Is there even a tiny possibility that the 7/8 master doesn't really exist?

Well, Thats what I'm asking they use to be made for rangers. There are plenty of threads from 2012 etc discussing them. I believe I have seen your posts on some of the older threads discussing this. So that is the million dollar question do "they" make them anymore? If so who? Maybe someone knows thats why I asked.

I'm honestly questioning whether they ever existed to begin with.

I remember reading on modern driveline or tiltons website for the internal slave they required a 7/8 master for the clutch size I wanted to run.

So am I....

Tilton or MDL claims some of there concentric slave cylinders require a 7/8 bore master.

Which I believe they are listed on rock auto for a f150 as 7/8 but that isnt necessarily a bolt on option. When I was buying parts for the M5OD-R2 I had in the ranger.
