My grandparents are real proud of our scottish heritage, so I've been to Nova Scotia more than the average American, been to the tattoo even. I was like 6 so I fell asleep but still haha.

The tattoo is cancelled this year.(like everything else) Well if you were in Halifax before, you were only 2hrs from where I am now, I'm in the Annapolis valley. Still too many people around here too, lol.

Well even with the skid plate I managed to pull the exh off on a rock. It just unplugged the y pipe I made so I pulled the skid plate and got it back in place. The long expanded part of the y pipe I made means it doesn't leak even without clamps. I had a wrap of exh tape on it. Anyway, that's not the news, I was finished doing that and saw a spot where the tires are rubbing at full lock so I grabbed my angle grinder and flap wheel and stuck my hand underneath to smooth it out a bit. Instead ,I bumped the end of the grinder which kicked it back in my hand and removing a good chunk of meat from my first finger on my left hand. Blood everywhere I went in and cleaned it up and wrapped it. This is the next day when I changed the bandage and took a better look at it. Yeah it should of had stitches but I ain't going to the hospital and waiting for 8 hours when I can wrap it up and go back to work.

Now I have matching first fingers as I did the same thing about 5 years ago with the grinder and a flapper wheel to my right hand, them things eat skin quite well!!

Wire wheels on grinders are viscous also. I nailed my thumb with one while I was cleaning up the rear carrier for my old wheeler.

I think flap disks are worse though.

Grinders are one of the most dangerous tools known to man. I've also learned that the hard way. 17 stitches to my left hand. A thin ribbon of thin steel got caught in the disc. It was like a motorized cat-o-nine tails. Very lucky I still have full use of all fingers.
I wear leather gloves now.
And a full face shield.

Super glue it together if you are 100% positive it needs stitches. Glue doesn't work on me because I pick at it till its gone but this is what many ER's are doing now. My step dad used to build model air planes and the Balsa wood would split and he would cut himself. Being on blood thinners at the time he would just grab the glue close the wound put the glue on it and spray the activator to quickly set it. Super glue loves to dry on skin in a hurry so you can get the jist of where I'm heading with this. It'll promote healing and leave less of a scar... unlike my shoulder that I picked it off of, that has a gaping scar on it.

Flapper wheels are worse than wire wheels, they hardly left any scars on my right hand/arm! LOL!!

I thought of the glue but wife was convinced gorilla glue wasn't the same as super glue. I was going to use it anyway but I've got a huge first aid kit so...

Interesting you mentioned faceshield Alwaysfloored. I am a huge proponent of face shields and wear them all the time at work. If I'm doing anything with wire wheels, I won't do it without a faceshield. Dad taught me as a kid "don't do it because you think I might catch you without it, do it because you'll be blind if you don't wear it"
I was sanding some wood for the wife a while back and damn it, dust gets in the eyes without a face shield too!

I don't work much with wood, I always say I can get a splinter picking up a wooden spoon! Metal? That's good, wood? Not so much.

As far as the donkey goes, wife is getting tired of the rough ride already, might have to do the long arm rear suspension sooner than I thought. Made it worse when she jumped into a buddies 4 door 1/2 ton with stock suspension and we went to the powerline. Stock truck soaked up the bumps no problem...sigh...
Back in the shop!

well crap, broke her again. was about 30kms from home on a snowmobile trail and was being stupid. full throttle jumping moguls and i broke both rear leaves, snapped the drive flange on the rearend and spit out the driveshaft!

yeah its shit pictures but its after 6 hrs on the trails and a 45 minute drive home on the highway being towed with 4 ways going on all the vehicles.

used the rear winch to pull the rearend back and square and to get it off the muffler. I guess the long arm suspension timeline just got bumped up!!
