Rock Auto doesn't pack the products. That's done at whatever warehouse the parts are coming from. I think the crushed boxes are the result of UPS and FedEX using "independent delivery contractors." My last Rockauto order was delivered by one of these nutjobs. I heard what sounded like someone from the street yell, "HEADS UP," then a loud bang on the security screen door. When I went to the door I didn't see anything because the box bounced off the door and rolled under the bushes. The box was smashed like an accordion. Anyway, that is how packages are delivered these days.
You can blame who you want I guess, IMO Rockauto must have better warehouses or something.

Shipping heavy steel parts in padded envelopes are far from ideal. It is a small wonder l I didn't get empty envelops as both were chewing their way out. The big package was the big tie rod end in a Moog box and my little USB charger socket in its little pathetic box... in a box together. No fill to keep things from shifting around...

I also quit ordering action figures from Amazon, they just throw them in a box and let them pinball around until they get to your house.

Everybody (Fedex, UPS, USPS) sets stuff inside the door on my porch.

Sorry, the only thing I learned from your last post is that you play with dolls. Lol.

I got a little side tracked by that part as well. Do you frequently order action figures?

Truck has been taking all the hobby money lately.

Star Wars 6" Black Series, mainly the various trooper versions.

Thanks for the warning. I was wondering if Amazon was Better than Ebay. Amozon has better prices, but a person usually packs the stuff from Ebay, not a huge wharehouse full of mindless robots.

They're ACTION FIGURES. lol

I got some STAR WARS stuff I"m trying to get rid of, mostly memorabilia type stuff. PM me if interested.

My name is Gump... and I have bought two action figures. At a garage sale for 50 cents each. Blues Brothers sealed in the package... large in size... probably 10 or 12 inches. They hang in my garage. The Belushi version was bringing about a $100 last time I looked a few years ago.

Thanks for the warning. I was wondering if Amazon was any better than eBay on that regard. I know Ebay is usually a person, not a WHAREHOUSE, doing the shipping, but Amazons prices are usually better. ( Rare and hard to find X-Men stuff )
Anymore I have to be pretty down on my luck to go thru Amazon. Either off the shelf or just thru Hasbro. I ordered an exclusive from Toys R Us's website once... their site was a joke I still cringe about it.

Between the 6" series and Legos I kinda gotta watch expanding because I am rapidly running out of room...

Same. I'm trying to get rid of the stuff that isn't X-Men or Batman related. So I got Avengers shit, Star wars, Spiderman, HULK, HOMIES, HotWheels, and tons of other stuff that just clutters up the stuff I like.

I have one 6" Star Wars figure - Bobba Fett, slightly damaged foot, red rocket that does not shoot.

Rocket doesn't shoot?

Probably my favorite figure, character is cool but they knocked it out of the park on that one. Looks very realistic.

Maybe I meant 4", mine is not that realistic at all, an very little articulation. It's about the size of a GIJoe from the 80's, not those Big Barbie sized ones

That makes more sense. Mine are roughly 6" tall, not the really big ones. Chewie is taller than Leia but they average around 6".

Just the right size to touch the ground.
