to the shipper, its just a box, they don't know what's in it.
A freaking huge and heavy box that is unlikely to fall out or get casually misplaced.

Nope.

The truck shipped on 03/21. I received it on 03/25. Still waiting on the tent.

I'm leaving for Overland Expo on 05/15. I would hope it would be here well before then so it can get mounted, and I can test it out before the trip.

I think the rtt collapses and folds up so you don't have to carry around a big ass tent all the time. I can't imagine a rtt would be much larger than a 6 man tent from Walmarket, fits in a box roughly 6"×6"×6'. Btw shippers have lost/misplaces whole semi trailers full of cargo, one little box is nothing.

I just got my RTT last month. The box was a little bigger than the tent... 6' x 4' x 1'. This is fully collapsed:

The tent is here in Texas. Just got a call from Ford. They will be picking up the truck next week to install the tent, and leaving me another Ranger in the process. They will actually be dropping it off with a company to install it. Said it takes about 3-hours.

In the meantime, Amazon should be dropping me off another item for the truck today.

Ford called and offered to switch this Ranger out for a nicer Lariet. I chose to keep this one since I've already put new tires on it.

That was nice of them. Why didn't you swap rims and tires? Are they different between the two?

Yeah, Lariats look a little different and have some polished bits.

I put the TRS logo on this truck. Plus added some LED's. I don't want to start over.

2019 Ford Ranger Lariet FX4 - A Loaner For The Loaner:

Time to get caught up......

Ford came and picked up the Loan Ranger yesterday, and brought me a blue Lariet to use in the meantime. Ford had actually called me and asked me if I wanted to switch to a different color or a Lariet before they installed the tent, but I told them I was just going to keep the silver one since I had already done stuff to it.

I was a little surprised when they brought me a blue Lariet FX4 to use for the day.

OMG!

If I was making a TRS package Ranger for myself, I would definitely start with this one.

It had keyless remote start, leather seats / console / dash, an upgraded stereo, sliding rear window, and a different instrument display (and other little things here and there).

The only thing I don't understand is why the rear slider window isn't electric :icon_confused:

Can't figure that one out either. It's not like you can just reach back there and close the rear slider if it starts raining.

Is that a handle at the mirror? if so, that's a nice touch.
