My credo
If you can't go through it or around it, then go over it.
Only if it was going to be built in the US. Might as well just buy a Tacoma otherwise. Remember, GM likes to build cars in China....... Global Colorado sounds like it might be built overseas. I know that blog suggests it will be built here but I wont believe it until I see the assembally plant.

Why do these so-called "global" small trucks have to be so ass-ugly? Granted this one is a Chevy, so it's a given, but even the global Ranger looks hidious

with this out, ford will either have to hold onto the ranger line, OR bring out the new F-100 faster, they can't let chevy dominate the compact/midsize truck sales.
and I do agree newer vehicles bring the UGLY! :bad:

go back with american styling, it has to be better than this crap.

Next Gen GM Midsize trucks are expected to be produced in at the Wentzeville Mo Van plant. As for the styling, I'm sure GM will tune it to American tastes and not leave it so car like.

Too bad Ford isn't following suit.

I can say that I like both the Global, and American Ranger bodies. Same goes for the styling of the Hilux, and Global Colorado. I will say the Global Colorado beats out the American one. I know my opinion is a bit different, but to each their own :D

ford just needs to make a REAL truck..

diesel, solid axles FRONT and REAR, 4 door... wait, i'm dreaming again... dang.

yeah its ugly, but maybe it'll make the f100 happen sooner. ford has got to have a ranger sized truck out. if i was to look for a mini truck right now, its a taco... no doubt.

but i'll get a full size if i get something soon tho.. or used ranger.

I think it has the kind of cab like the Tundra (the colorado that is).

I think the global stuff looks just fine, the thing is global means its sold world wide and thus has to appeal to more then just one group of people. And they are less "flash" because most other countrys just want a truck...

I think that ford pulling the Ranger is probably a good thing atleast for now, it is in desperate need of a redesign. Its got almost 20 year old R&D in it. It gets worse mileage then even the fullsized trucks, and is woefully behind any of the competition (tacoma, colorado, and much less but the nissan and zukis).

Either an F100 (I think isn't going to go well, its like another retro bring back, the ranger is an already established name with the younger crowd that is going to buy it.

Wentzville MO plant I believe. Google it, there are a few recent stories about it.
