ah SHIT!
So my fan cutch burned up and I decided to put a taurus e fan in its place. I got the fan and my dad had an e fan summit racing install kit. it came with a temp sensor to screw into the intake manifold. I have 2 temp sensors in my intake manifold already, I was wondering what they both are for.

As of now I put a brass T into the single wire one, and then installed the facroy one on one side, and the e fan one on the other side of it. I dont think it is working right, So I am looking for other options. I dont like how it is rigged up now. Is there another way to make the fan come on besides this temp sensor? I dont want it to run all the time or have it hard wired into a switch that I have to remember to flip.

I though when you installed on it had a probe on it that you put through the fins on the radiator by one on the hoses.

One sensor is for the computer, the other one (the one wired one) is for the dash gauge.

Go to the junkyard and look for an early 90's 2.3 powered truck, check the heater hoses for a "T" with a sensor in it. pull the sensor out and put the sensor from your kit in it, then plumb it into the hot side of your heater lines. You may need to braise a small bolt onto it to use as a ground stud if you only have a 1 wire sender.

good to know, holy ford thanks for the help. I did some research and found the probe install kit, do they work as well as the temp sensor ones? I kinda feel safer with the temp sensor if I can get it to work right, but a probe sounds a lot easier.

I used a probe switch on my old ranger engine and my f150, they work but not as well as the temp sensor would, I imagine. I had to replace the probe after a year or so because the relay switch failed and I had to leave the fan on all the time. I'm not putting an e-fan on my 4.0, as I can't see it making much difference power wise for it to be worth the trouble. But when they work well, they do work really well.
