I bought a 1990 Ford Ranger 4 cylinder about a month ago. The guy let me know that the temp gauge and gas gauge didn't work. I figured it would be something in the fuse relays. Well I have looked around the fused and have been able to find a fuse or anything that would correspond with both of those gauges going out. I know that if one or the other was out like if just the temp gauge was working to check the thermostat and if the gas gauge well then you get the lovely task of dropping the tank and replacing the sending unit in the tank. I was curious if anyone would have any idea what would make BOTH of these not work. I'm guessing something either A) Electrical or B) Wiring. Any ideas or has someone ran across this? :dunno:
