Taurus seats?

Anyone done Taurus seats?

I need better seats in my '99. My parents are soon to be scrapping a 2000 Taurus. Was my mom's daily from 2000 until 2012, hasn't been touched since. I don't remember what the seats in it were like, but since they'd be free it's got me curious about using them. I'd need to find a center console to go with, probably full length Explorer console.


Update: Forgot about this thread until someone liked a post in it. Seats I had access to were not in good enough shape to fool with. Foam was ok, but damage to rail mechanism on one of them. Never bothered with pulling and test fitting. As of October 2023 I've still got stock seats, and finding replacements has slid lower on my priority list.

I don't remember what console this one has. I know it was buckets and console, but I don't remember what the console was like. Personally I wouldn't want the one you have pictured, if I get one I want to to have a cubby with lid. Might go with something else for seats, but I think i will stick with Ranger or Explorer for the console. Undecided on full length explorer console or the short factory Ranger console. Finding anything local is difficult at best, but the short Ranger factory console would be pretty easy to find in the right color on eBay.
