1999 4x2 4cyl. 5spd. short bed. The previous owner lowered it by changing front springs and removing 1 leaf from rear. I want to raise it back up while adding 1- 1.5 inches. You can see the camber is out of wack so I will do shocks too as 210k miles on it and look at other parts as well.. Is there a well known spring to use or will I need to call moog or rough country for help? And any thoughts on raising the rear some too. To give you an idea...1.5" over stock 225/75r15 mild all terrian tires on 15x7 soft 8's, Prerunner "LITE" if you will. O.K. I'm getting older and hitting curbs ,NOT going offroad on purpose! LOL

I would look for springs meant for a 4.0l engine in an extended cab truck. That would give the strongest ppi (pounds per inch) if any stock front spring. Look for rear springs from an explorer. Be aware I haven't worked on newer than a 93 ranger.

For the coil springs check the driver's door for the spring code. It can be a 3, G,H or possibly a 2, A,C or J.
If yours has the Splash suspension (flareside box) then that is the light duty 3,G, H.

The rear springs are already weak enough as they were installed, was the helper removed?

Check out Rockauto for new replacements, hard to beat their prices....

Not surprised at the camber situation, 1" drop will induce 2 degrees *neg* camber (normal is -.5 degrees). Returning to the proper ride height will cure that.
