mine idles around 900 rpm. its just a tad shy of the "1" digit on the gauge so I'd say around 900. mine is a 99 3.0 if that makes a difference for you. I would replace the fuel pump and go from there. It wont hurt anything to replace it. If it dropped to 10 psi then I would suspect the fuel pump for sure. Mine was doing that crap last summer and I replaced everything but the fuel pump only to end up replacing the fuel pump and then problem solved.

Well I got the Fuel Pump but I am 3.5 hours away from the house with no tools so I am praying I make it home Friday.

Well replaced the fuel pump and the pressure is holding a little above 30 psi.
Engine idling should be around 30-40 psi. So you should be good. It should seem like a different truck now.
