tailgate replace

I have a rusted out tailgate. I see tailgate shell for 93-05, my truck is a 07. does anyone know if the tailgates are different after 06.

The change in '07 was the Ford emblem in the middle instead of down in the corner, that's it, so your bigger emblem won't directly fit the replacement tailgates... whether that bugs you or not is up to you but that's the change...

It’s my understanding that the tailgates will fit from 83-11, but the 83-92 tailgates won’t match body lines on newer ones. 93-11 will match newer body lines, but I guess there was a trim change, which is visual and not a mechanical fit issue

And just to add, Step side bed tail gates are narrower, so 1993-2011 regular bed tail gates are the same dimensions
