Title says it .. I want to install a tach in my 1984...

Is the Bronco II pre wired for a tach? What’s the easiest way to do this?

Thanks

I don't think that early model is pre-wired. You just need to hook up key-on power and ground, the wire for the dial light, which is going to be a lightblue/red, and then run a wire out to the engine compartment and hook it to the negative of the coil. That will pick up the pulses from the module and trigger the tach.
