BW 1350 and 1354 transfer cases use different shifters. Is this correct?

Correct.

The BW1350 have a different shifter for every transmission.

The BW1354 only uses 1 shifter.

Thanks. I have a 1350 case and shifter and have found a 1354 case but it does not have a shifter. Didn't think they would swap.

No. You might be able to find a shifter pretty easy. PM AllanD, he may have one.

I thought if the 1350 was behind a M5OD the shifter would work on a 1354, but guess I'm wrong? that was my plan, I have two manual 1354's in my garage, one with a shifter one without, the shifter I have looks like the one on my truck with the 1350... one of the 1354's is for my ranger (has manual 1350 now), the other for my explorer (electric 1354)

upper halves are the same. bottom half(long arm and pivot arm on the tcase shift fork/rail whatever are different between the two. 1354 long arm is straight w/ offset fork bracket. 1350 is offset long arm and straight shift fork backet thing.

whether or not this is just maz trans or the other one with 4 bolts on the top, i havn't a clue.
