Hello TRS transmission community, the title says it all I'm torn between using a T5 or a Tremec Viper 6 speed for my Ranger project. I've mentioned in a couple other threads the details but will again. The drivetrain will consist of a 4.0 ohv built into a Morana 4.3 and is expected to reach ~ 450 ft lbs. The trans is between a T5 and a Viper 6. transfer case is an atlas 4 speed with 10.39:1 lowest range. Denny's D/S. Front end is currently being dicussed in the axle forum. And the rear end is a 35spl trutrac Ford 9". 3.73 R&P gears. Please pick a trans and give reasoning for your choice, if there's another trans that you think would be better than list it and I'll look into it. Do not factor cost into your reasoning and ABSOLUTELY NO AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION OPTIONS manual only. Thanks everyone.
