100 acres isn't very big, about 2080' x 2080'

640 acres is only 1 mile x 1 mile square
True,, let me know where that 640 acres can be had for $600k, and ill take it !

If you don’t care where, that’s easy. I recently started looking for a large piece of property, but I’m still not sure where I want to buy.

To me, that rig is a useful as a Unimog camper. Sure, it looks cool but how much real off roading are you going to do with that monster? Most of the trails I've seen, that thing would never fit. Sure, you can get up the access trail to the real trails but that would be about it.
It'd be cool for a trek across alaska or something

In Alaska, you may need to haul a fuel trailer behind you with that rig.

And hope the fuel doesn’t gel on you of it’s a diesel.

I think this is the truck that twisted off a driveshaft on a trail and was recovered by a well known off road recovery youtuber...

Sure makes a guy want to crawl under it and see if they fixed the driveshaft...

The company had some BS story that the F-550 has a common problem of bad wheel bearings that increased the strain on the driveshaft or something... which did not make Ford happy. It was hilarious.

I bet they didn't fix the shaft. I've worked on f450s and 550s with plows and sanders on them for well over a decade, they're beat and overloaded, one wheel bearing and that's it. Also have two buses on stretched 550 chassis and never an issue with them either, and those are near full gvw when loaded also. I call bs on their claim. I'd like to see what that truck scales out at as it sits, dare to bet its near full gvw or overweight, and they're running stupid single wheels and tires all the way around, the offset in the rear can't be kind to things either...

Here’s a F550:

The Lenco Bearcat weighs in at 18K unloaded on a f550 chassis. They can easily be overloaded, has a battering ram on the front, wide tires that have no problem with getting traction, and are driven hard all the time. This is one of the LEAST abused F550s in our fleet.. I’ve yet to see any driveshaft issues.

I don't doubt it. The drivetrain is capable of punching above its weight for sure, the weakest link in the ones I've dealt with are the stretched frames, they are not the strongest and have tons of twist, but they're also about 34 feet long.

Your bearcat is probably better balanced. Aside from the bumper, cheesy fenders and even cheesier wood interior all the weight these clowns added is on the rear axle. Probably added a spicy tune for giggles too.
